Everton have signed France forward Kelly Gago for an undisclosed fee from Nantes.
The 25-year-old will join the Blues when the Women’s Super League transfer window opens on 1 January, subject to international clearance.
Gago is the club’s first signing under new ownership the Friedkin Group, who took over on Thursday.
“I chose to come and play for Everton as I liked what [manager] Brian [Sorensen] had to say and how his team plays,” said Gago.
“The way they attack as one and defend as one is what made me want to sign and [I want] to help achieve the club’s goals.”
